Butter London Pitter Patter Nail Polish (2013) is New Welcoming Hue to Royal Baby {New Beauty Product - Nails}
British nail polish company Butter London are following up on their previous color launches meant to illustrate marking events in the life of the Royal family, be it the Duchess of Cambridge or the Queen. After No More Waity, Katie and Lillibet's Jubilee, they are introducing a limited edition nail polish called, guess what, no, not "Royal Bump" but Pitter Patter...
Yes, they are already hearing the royal toddler in action even before he or she is born.
We asked a company rep why the purple hue which they describe as "a gorgeous, opaque aubergine" - - and not, say, a royal blue?
The rep answered that "All of the “royal inspired” launches have been in the purple color family since purple as long been associated with royalty. The shade’s elite status initially stemmed from the cost and rarity of the dye that was originally used to produce it,"
While the shimmery amethyst shade might evoke better the significance of the event rather than the tender age of the royal-to-be, it also looks like a momentous choice for an evening look.
These polishes are a 3-free and retail for $15.
