Great Lash Doll Mania Mascara by Maybelline (2014) {New Beauty Product - Eyes}
Who Are You Polly Maggoo?
Maybelline have released a new version of their great classic, Great Lash, which is called Great Lash Doll Mania Mascara...
This is an allusion to what I personally like to call the "sea urchin look" which gives you this very exaggerated 60s impression of eyes wide open and full of naïveté that you normally see on kids, dolls, and people who have managed not to be sullied by the sins of the world.
While Great Lash is a super efficacious mascara, it remains in my opinion a daytime mascara. Despite its name indeed it shows restraint and thinks about your going to the office or running mundane errands.
With Doll Mania, the brush mimicking and replacing the traditional makeup geek's kitchen spoon is meant to push all your eye lashes higher and give them a more dramatic curvature so that you won't necessarily need to use an eye lash curler.
Given the fact that Maybelline know a thing or two on the topic of mascaras, you are seeing a worthy effort. So, this is definitely a product to keep your eyes peeled for and try. On the other hand, there are so many people who keep going back to the classic that you might think this is purely for fun.
Available in Blackest Black Very Black and Brown Black. Currently at Ulta.
Price: $5,99.
