Fragrance News: Limited Edition of Papier d'Arménie by Francis Kurkdjian
Alert to perfume collectors: perfumer Francis Kurkdjian has now come up with a new scent for the Papier d'Arménie. After Guerlain Bois d'Arménie was issued recently this year, based on the subtle aroma of the traditional papier d'Arménie created in 1855 we have another homage paid to it...
To celebrate this year dedicated to Armenia in France, the nose has composed a new scent for the paper that includes incense, myrrh, vanilla, and woody notes. The limited edition of the traditional small notebooks of fragrant papers is decorated with a stylized bird to pay homage to Armenian calligraphy. This limited edition will be sold exclusively at the Boutique en Or at the Bon Marché in Paris for 5 Euros from October 28 2006. Isn't that logo LOVELY ?
So graceful...
Hello,
Bois d'Arménie is actually a creation by Annick Menardo. Francis Kurkdjian created Rose Barbare in the same collection, in 2005.

Chaya,
Yes, it is.
Ambroxan,
Thanks, I have not been able to verify that but knew he was working for Guerlain on Rose Barbare. I thought they would have asked Kurkdjian to create Bois d'Armenie since he is of Armenian origin, but actually I didn't give it a second thought:)
