New Perfumes: Kinmokusei by Ayala Moriel Parfums
Canadian natural perfumer Ayala Sender, owner of, and nose for Ayala Moriel Parfums, is launching a new fragrance this fall called Kinmokusei to celebrate the season of the osmanthus harvest. The name of the perfume designates the osmanthus flower in Japanese.
According to the press release, "Osmanthus is a unique Asian flower, with a smooth and rich scent of green tea, apricot and leather...
"...This osmanthus soliflore is unusually dark, rich and complex. It opens sparkling with apricot, peach, wild orange and raspberry undertones; rejuvenates like cool green tea, yet unmistakably smooth and floral. The base is surprising - musky and woody, with underlining leathery note of cured tobacco leaves."
Top notes are Wild orange, Green Pepper, Coriander. Heart notes are Osmanthus, Linden Blossom, Green Tea. Base notes are Tabac Blond, Sandalwood, and Musk Seed.
It is available in an 8 ml size of pure parfum extract for $90. You can also order a sample of 0.5 ml for $5. Ayala Moriel Parfums provides personalized perfume consultations and different bespoke services.
You can also visit Ayala Sender's blog, Smelly Blog, and participate in an autism charity event.
Bonjour, Helene-
The description of this is lovely-
I hesitate only because I've sampled several of Ayala's perfumes, and they don't last very long for me...
She has a great variety of scents, which are fascinating.
Tell me what you think, when you sample this.
I'd be curious regarding your impressions.
Be well-
I will:)
