The Different Company has released a new trilogy of perfumes inspired by the visions of three different gardens. They are called Un Parfum D'Ailleurs et Fleurs (A Perfume of Elsewhere and Flowers), Un Parfum Des Sens et Bois (A Perfume of the Senses and Wood) Un Parfum de Charme et Feuilles (A Perfume of Charm and Leaves). They were composed by Céline Ellena who says that she "writes using aromas to further move into the abstract and the immaterial". She is also the author of Jasmin de Nuit, Sel de Vétiver, and Rose Divine...

The three perfumes were respectivelly inspired by a wildly-grown garden in Montmartre, a classical formal French garden, and last but not least, the garden that was put into music by Debussy in Prélude à l'Après-Midi d'un Faune basing himself on a wondrous poem by Mallarmé called l'Après-Midi d'un Faune whose first lines are:

Ces nymphes, je les veux perpétuer.

                                                                                        Si clair,
Leur incarnat léger, qu'il voltige dans l'air
Assoupi de sommeils touffus.

Aimai-je un rêve?...

Notes for Un Parfum D'Ailleurs et Fleurs are neroli, tuberose, mandarin, plum, and wild hazelnut blossom.

Un Parfum des Sens et Bois comprises notes of white violet, Chinese cedarwood, black pepper, ginger, and elemi.

Un Parfum de Charme et de Feuilles is composed of marjoram, jasmine Sambac, peppermint, sage, and clementine.

The perfumes are sold for 55 Euros for 50 ml and 95 Euros for 100 ml.
