The Fragrance Collection Trend in 2007: Chanel Les Exclusifs,Tom Ford Private Blend, Dior, Creed {The 5th Sense in the News}
Cheryl Lu-Lien Tan reports on the "fragrance wardrobe" market trend in the Wall Street Journal and uncovers upcoming fragrance collections:
"[...] Perfume companies are trying a new approach to court fickle consumers like Hanners. Some top makers are set to launch multiple scents in groups, hoping women who don't want one signature fragrance will snap up several from a collection instead -- and become faithful to the umbrella brand....
The new collections include Les Exclusifs de Chanel, a 10- fragrance line the maker of iconic Chanel No. 5 will launch next month. In April, designer Tom Ford will launch Private Blend, a collection of 12 floral and citrus scents. This fall, Dior will start selling a new line of perfumes created by designer John Galliano. Also later this year, Creed will offer a $1,600 collection of three perfumes packaged in a leather case [...]"
