Creations of Ateliers Découvertes (Perfumery Workshops) at Guerlain {Scented Paths & Fragrant Addresses}

Starting in May of 2007, Guerlain will inaugurate a new series of perfumery workshops that will be open to the public. There will be workshops for adults called Les Contes Parfumés (Perfumed Tales) where 10 people at a time will be initiated to the history of Guerlain and to the creation of a perfume.....

The workshops will take place at the Guerlain flagship store and will include olfactory games, short movies on the history of Guerlain, and initiations to perfume-making. The sessions will be led by Carole Aymé who is responsible for perfume training at Guerlain. Price is 180 Euros for the whole day, lunch included. There are also workshops for children called Les Petits Guerlain which are open to 10 children maximum from 7 years old. Games are organized and a diploma "L'apprenti petit Guerlain" (The little Guerlain apprentice) is offered at the end of the day. The cost of attendance to a workshop is 35 Euros. There is the option of turning the workshop into a birthday party with a goûter (afternoon snack) at the Mariott Hotel.
