Colonia Intensa by Acqua di Parma {New Men's Fragrance}

Acqua di Parma, an artisan Italian brand founded in 1906, which is steeped in history and Hollywood glamour, will launch its first masculine fragrance called Colonia Intensa in September of 2007.  Its fragrances have been worn in the past by many masculine celebrities such as Cary Grant and David Niven, so it is more a question of marketing communication than anything else as the men's perfumes are becoming more and more of a sexy arena of competition lately.....

The scent is described as a woody and leathery fragrance with a persistent yet discreet scent, the result of the combination of woods and resins. The fragrances made by the house are still very much done the old fashioned way as they are filtered and made by hand. The fragrance was composed by perfumer Alberto Morillas of Firmenich with LVMH senior vice president olfactive development for perfumes François Demachy.
