Evening Edged in Gold by Ineke {New Perfume} {The 5th Sense in the News}
Perfumer or rather "parfumier" Ineke Rühland, who seems to prefer this term, is the founder and owner of Ineke San Francisco. She has announced that she will launch a new fragrance at the end of August 2007 called Evening Edged in Gold in keeping with her program of following the letters of the alphabet to name each one of her creations. It comes after After My Own Heart, Balmy Days & Sundays, Chemical Bonding, and Derring-Do......

She thus talks to Fashion Plate and explains how she started out "I got hooked," she says. "Growing up in Canada, you don't think of parfumier as a profession. I learned to love fragrance in France." People wear perfume a lot less in San Francisco, now her home, she says. "When I go back to Paris, I'm constantly catching those lovely wafts. It adds this little extra to your persona. It's an invisible accessory. It makes somebody, in my opinion, much more interesting."
