Let It Rock by Vivienne Westwood {New Perfume}
Vivienne Westwood in partnership with Coty unveiled a new fragrance yesterday baptized Let It Rock. It is named after her first shop established in the 1970s in King's Road (loved to hang out in that neighborhood when I was a teen). Ingredients popular in the 70s were a direct source of inspiration for the perfume: rose, cedar and sandalwood, geranium, and patchouli......
"Let it Rock is an oriental which opens with top notes of bergamot and freesia, which lead to a jasmine heart and dry down to a base of amber and patchouli."
"Westwood referred to Marlene Dietrich’s statement that she “dressed for the image,” and said that the same applied to fragrance too. “Perfume should be like a look – something whole and completed”. The new fragrance, Let it Rock, fulfils this, she said. “The Let it Rock image is a glam rock chick – very Kate Moss.”
