Parfums d'Eté at the InterContinental Paris - Le Grand Hotel {Scented Paths & Fragrant Addresses}

Perfumery workshops as well as perfume tourism are becoming increasingly popular in France. Following this trend, the InterContinental Paris Le Grand Hôtel is organizing an exhibition and event about perfumes called Parfums d'Eté or Summer Scents that will run next month from July 2nd to the 30th.......

Personalities from the fragrance business will participate such as Thierry Mugler (who will direct workshops), Paco Rabanne, Nelli Rodi....Thierry Mugler is a veteran at organizing this type of activities that reach out to consumers and correspond to their wish to be better educated about perfumes. The series of events will show the perfume-making process from the selection of raw materials to the creation of perfumes.

In the hotel's Winter Garden there will be a historical exhibition from July 6th on the great perfumes of the Second Empire and the Belle Epoque with the display of precious objects a number of which will be auctioned for the proceeds to go to charity on July 5 in the Salon Opéra. The sense of taste will not be neglected as cocktails made out of suprising floral accords will be offered at the end of the day.
