L'Eau D'Issey Pour Homme Intense by Issey Miyake (2007) {New Cologne}
Issey Miyake has a new version of L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme (1994) called L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Intense, which is a more sensual and warmer rendition of the original. The new scent was composed by perfumer Jacques Cavallier, also the author of its first incarnation. He said,
“[L’Eau d’Issey pour Homme] is without a doubt the fragrance I know best,” [...]“For L’Eau d’Issey pour Homme Intense, I knew which rules needed to be respected.”........
Citrus notes of mandarin orange zest, enhanced with bergamot, yuzu and sweet orange, give way to an astringent spice combination of camphor, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg and saffron. These are freshened with blue water lily which adds an ozone-like note and the unmistakeable L’Eau d’Issey pour Homme signature.
Black incense, ambergris, benzoin and papyrus wood essence feature in the deep, woody dry-down.
It is currently exclusively sold at Nordstrom for $74 and $54 and will also be available in travel retail from September 1.

wow. another version of issey miyake. great classic, but making spin-offs has kind of killed my passion for issey. at least make a fragrance that is totally different! the name doesn't matter, it's the juice, for me at least.
