Ambre 114 in the 12 Tomes Collection by Histoires de Parfums {New Fragrance} {Perfume News}
Histoires de Parfums, a niche perfume house established in 2001 in the heart of the Marais by founder and owner Gérard Ghislain has issued a new fragrance called Ambre 114.
The house has also repackaged and re-conceptualized their once upon a time differentiated collections by making the perfume bottles look as if they were books taken out from the personal library of a choosy connoisseur.......
The repackaging is considered to be a luxury edition and the idea is that they are "meant to be read on the skin."
The site of Histoires de Parfums is currently under construction but the new perfume is available for purchase at Aus Liebe Zum Duft where it is described in the following manner: "The mythical raw material, Amber, is the cornerstone of Amber 114, a composition of 114 elements ... a cornucopia of spices and flowers."
Main notes are:
Head: thyme, nutmeg
Heart: roses, patchouly, sandalwood, cedar, vetiver, geranium
Base: ambergris, vanilla, tonka beans, musk, benzoin
The 120 ml Eau de Parfum retails for 130 € and a perfume sample is available for 4 €.
