Lulu Guinness launched a new perfume yesterday on Halloween day called Fairytales. It is a limited edition and is inspired by the tales of Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. She had already launched a fragrance inspired by the same magical theme called Cast a Spell, a woody oriental......
The bottle of Fairytales is decorated with a motif of mirrored fairies. The scent is described as a floriental.
Notes are: Pink Grapefruit, Crème de Cassis, Raspberry, Magnolia, Madiera Jasmine, Strawberry Leaf, Cocoa Powder, Caramelized Sugar, Exotic Spice Accord.
Interestingly, Thierry Mugler is also coming up this fall with a line of perfumes which both takes its inspiration from the theme of the mirror and the fairy tale Snow White, following in this manner in the footsteps of Belle en Rykiel also a variation on the mirror and an atmosphere of fairy tale.

I have purchased two bottles of Fairytale in the last year at Sephora; they now no longer carry this scent. I have perfect strangers approach me and ask what scent I am wearing. I love it; too bad it was a limited edition.
