• Burberry is preparing to launch a new family of fragrances called Beat.

• Van Cleef & Arpels, Lanvin, and S.T. Dupont are also planning to launch new fragrances......

• A new lifestyle Brand called Rocawear owned by the Iconix Brand Group will launch a new Rocawear perfume in the fall of 2008 in partnership with Elizabeth Arden,

"Rocawear is described as a dominant lifestyle brand with a wide range of customers and categories including sportswear, footwear, outerwear, handbags, belts, loungewear, big & tall, headwear, jewellery, sunglasses and children's clothing."

• Lorenzo Villoresi will launch a new perfume called Mare Nostrum. It is described as a spicy fragrance with an iodine facet.
