Yuletide has not quite subsided yet, but designer
Jean Paul Gaultier is already teasing Christmas shopping survivors by announcing the February release of a limited edition of Gaultier2 for Valentine's day 2008 called
Gaultier2 Eau d'Amour (Gaultier2 Love Water)......
The concentration has been lightened to an eau-de-toilette one with fresh notes of mandarin and coriander added to the opening head notes. Otherwise it repeats the amber-musk-vanilla accord on which the original is based. Further precisions brought about the notes are the mentions of honey and crystalline musk. As we noted last year, the description of the notes in
Gaultier2 seems to be one of the most synthetic ones to date.
The scent will be available as a duo of bottles, 2 X 60 ml, for 65 € and in a single 60 ml flacon for 49 €.
