The New Straits Times has an interview with Camille Goutal, the co-creator of Annick Goutal perfumes with Isabelle Doyen.
“We never test perfume on people, we don’t do a market test. We don’t try to go against the trend, we only create things that we like,” Camille says. [...].....
“Our customers come to our shop when they want to buy something different so there is no question of balancing profit with perfume making, the latter which is my passion. True, fresh perfumes are easy to sell, but when you make fresh perfumes all the time, it does not become interesting anymore.”
