Worth Paris Fragrance Re-Editions + Shopping Tips {Fragrance News}
Vintage-fragrance-lovers alert! A set of re-editions of vintage Worth fragrances was sighted; it includes the classic Dans La Nuit (1924), Vers Le Jour (1925), Sans Adieu (1929), Je Reviens (1932), and Vers Toi (1934).
As you may or may not know, you can still find Dans La Nuit and Je Reviens, the latter also in the so-called "Couture" edition (blue ribbed art deco bottle) which is closest to what we remember Je Reviens smelling like in the 1980s, but the rest of them are discontinued......
The House of Worth was originally set up by couturier Charles Frederick Worth in 1858; the couturier is considered the father of Haute Couture.
All five perfume names put together are meant to tell a narrative about a love story, "In the night, towards the day, without bidding farewell, I return, to you." They are not listed on the Worth Paris website but can be found on Perfume Shopping.com for £ 9, 95 for a set of 5 purse sprays. International shipping available.
Also for those enamored with Worth Courtesan, there are still 4 bottles left on eBay sold by tc_deals at $56, 95. It is a fragrance that is really hard to come by if you live in the US.
