Jil Sander Style Blush Pink, Tender Green, Soft Yellow (2008) {New Fragrances}

Jil Sander Style, the original scent (2006), will see the addition of three flankers all at once offering three olfactory variations inspired and evoked by pastel colors. The new perfumes are called Blush Pink, Tender Green and Soft Yellow. They were all composed by Bernard Ellena of Symrise (he is incidentally the brother of famous Hermès in-house nose Jean Claude Ellena) and is also the creator of Jil Sander Style. The scents were co-created with nose Lucas Sieuzac...
According to The Moodie Report,

 "Blush Pink is a woody floral with powdery notes, constructed around neroli, violet, heliotrope and amber. Tender Green is a green floral, featuring notes of green tea, bitter orange and jasmine sambac. Soft Yellow heightens the oriental facet of the original, with ingredients such as bitter orange, yellow freesia, orange blossom, woody vanilla and amber."

It is not uncommon to see perfumes being inspired by colors and some perfumers are spontaneously more "visual" than others. Usually the color-coded fragrances tend to be clearly contrasted. The slight twist to be noted in this case is the wish to stick to a common soft pastel range of shades, which means that quite a bit of white was mentally added to all three compositions.

The trio is exclusively available from August at Gebr Heinemann travel retail stores in 50 ml sizes.
