Parfums Delrae Emotionnelle (2009) {New Perfume}

Parfums DelRae will launch a new perfume inspired by Paris called Emotionnelle (Emotional). The brand founder wanted to refer to the emotions she felt while in the city of lights and perfumes and asked perfumer Michel Roudnitska to transcribe those feelings for her into a fragrance...

"I wanted to create a perfume inspired by a long stay in Paris years ago. It was a very transforming time for me, Paris became my adopted city, and a symbol of having a life filled with possibilities. It was a great luxury to have this time without an agenda, to explore and follow your intuition every day."

DelRae Roth had a short list of notes that had left an impression on her: melon, rose, violet, spices, dried fruits. The fragrance wanted to capture these to compose "an ode to the emotional power that scent plays in our lives."

Notes are: melon, tangerine, bergamot, violet leaves, jasmine, rose, prune, cedar, vetyver, clove, amber.

A 50 ml bottle is priced at $135.
