Chopard Cascade (2009) Launched at the Cannes Festival {New Perfume}
Geneva-based jewelry house Chopard is a privileged partner of the prestigious Cannes film festival as they are the designers of the Golden Palm since 1998.
To fete the launch of their new feminine fragrance Cascade named after one of their jewelry items from the Red Carpet High Jewelry collection specially designed on the occasion of the 62nd Cannes Festival, the house went to party on the Croisette....
Cascade is built around a central note of Belle de Nuit, a bloom that opens at night only and releases a captivating scent. Other notes include pink pepper, grapefruit, mandarin and orchid.
The bottle is all femininity with its round body and salmon pink color. The cap modeled after the shape of a Cascade collection earring is a throw back to the Art Deco period orienting the perception of the flacon to be from the same era. It all very much evokes the atmosphere of a Hollywood boudoir, complete with swan down puffs and satin deshabillés.
Cascade is expected to launch in July 2009.
