Bond No.9 Perfume (2009): 10th Anniversary Celebration {New Fragrance}
This November 2009, Bond No. 9 will release a special fragrance to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the brand consecrated to the New York cityscape. Emblematically called Bond No. 9 Perfume it is also said to be founder Laurice Rahme's personal caprice as her scent will feature notes she favors and those will be limited to four only, from top to bottom...
Head notes are rose and oud, heart note is tonka bean, base note is musk. The composition is signed by Laurent Le Guernec. Rahme said that she could not imagine using a synthetic oud replacement "for something so culturally meaningful".
The jus is will be "housed within a gold flacon, laser-engraved with the company's logo, and priced at $330.00 for 3.4 oz."
Despite the pesonal positioning I could see this fragrance be a perfect fit for the Middle Eastern market and tastes, not only for oud and rose but also for the aesthetics of gold.
