It was created by perfumers Carlos Benaïm and Dominique Ropion, two renowned names of perfumery. The two men collaborated previously on fragrances such as Armani Code for Her (with Olivier Polge), Pure Poison (with Olivier Polge), Calvin Klein Euphoria (with Loc Dong), Givenchy Very Irresistible (with Sophie Labbé).

Wanted is said to be a delicate and refined scent featuring besides magnolia, notes of orris, ylang ylang and woods.

The flacon was designed by Hervé von der Straeten. The cap remains the same while the shape of the bottle changes according to its size.
