Parfum d'Empire 3 Fleurs, Wazamba (2009) {New Perfumes}
Parfum d'Empire will launch a new duo of unisex perfumes this fall called 3 Fleurs and Wazamba. The fragrances are signed by Marc-Antoine Corticchiato.
3 Fleurs is a floral composition paying homage to three main flowers that were elected by civilizations in history to symbolize love: Bulgarian rose, Egyptian jasmine and Indian tuberose. Wazamba named after a musical instrument from Western Africa is a composition centering on incense ...
From Parfum d'Empire,
"3 FLEURS weaves a story from tales of love found in great civilisations of the past. Galbanum, with its tear drops of green sap, crisp mint, an abundance of rose, the gauzy whiteness of sophisticated jasmine and the wildness of tuberose... a true flowering of petals reinforced by a cocktail of white musk."
"WAZAMBA evokes the sacred dimension of an inner voyage found in all great cultures. The profound sensation of Somalian incense, Kenyan myrrh, Ethiopian opoponax, Indian sandalwood and Moroccan cypress recall the rituals of great civilisations: notes which are an invitation to discover a pathway beyond time... to become reconciled with all the facets of oneself. "
I have not tested the perfumes yet but from what I have smelled so far, the compositions have struck me as being particularly lush and round this time.
