OMG, uncanny. After the news of the death of Lee Alexander McQueen sank in, I started thinking about who could possibly fill the void and take the relay of his creative genius. The candidate that popped into my mind at that time was not from the circles of fashion but from pop-singing: Lady Gaga!
Well, lo and behold, OK! Magazine have announced that look-artist Lady Gaga has associated herself with Donatella Versace to create her own line of clothing and that she has been in part prompted to do so because of the death of McQueen.
The singer might not have had the rigorous training that her spiritual mentor had in Savile Row and Saint Martin's but you can definitely perceive that she is a kindred spirit and knows how to push boundaries (understatement)...
