Parfums de Nicolaï or 3 News for this Spring 2010: l'Eau MiXte, Un Soir en Sicile, New Boutique - Update

Parfums de Nicolaï have three surprises for perfume aficionados this spring. First, they are going to open a new boutique in the trendy Marais neighborhood in Paris, which will be located in the same street as that of Etat Libre d'Orange...
We told you before that the Marais district was becoming perfumier and perfumier (see also here and here) and it's now most definitely one of the areas in Paris that you cannot miss visiting if you want to go perfume shopping while vacationing in or zipping through the city.
In a way, it's a throwback to the medieval times when stores from one corporation would concentrate in one spot, like for a bazaar, for your comparative shopping convenience.
The new address:
45, rue des Archives
75003
At the same time, you will be able to discover a new fragrance from Parfums de Nicolaï this spring, a unisex scent called L'Eau Mixte. It comes after an effort by perfumer Patricia de Nicolaï to interpret masculinity with Patchouli Homme. A lot of gender thinking at the brand now.
No info on the notes so far but there are.... citruses on the advert. A clue which is confirmed by the announcement that L'Eau Mixte will be escorted by its home-fragrance variation called Un Soir en Sicile (An Evening in Sicily.)
Update - Here are the fragrance notes: bergamot, Calabrian lemon, mint, grapefruit, blackcurrant bud, rose, jasmine, spices, vetiver from Java, oakmoss, musks.
All these things are to happen from mid-April 2010.

Would love to read an announcement that PdN has updated their website. Wonder if they plan to revamp it at some point. It's truly awful. Thanks for the post on the new fragrance, MH! I look forward to trying this!
Hope they'll get the hint :)!
You're welcome! You're pushing me in the direction of adopting MH definitively as it's so much quicker and sympathico and people seem to like using it. I like it too.
