Dior Escale aux Marquises (2010): Ongoing Journey by Sea {New Perfume}
Dior Escale aux Marquises (Port of Call in the Marquesas Islands) is the latest and third eau-de-cologne inspired perfume in the Travel series. It is said to be have been inspired by the aromas of French Polynesia. Escale aux Marquises follows up on the debut scent Escale à Portofino launched in 2008 which was succeeded by Escale à Pondichéry in 2009...
The jus is described as a fresh and spicy fragrance centering on the tiare flower from the Pacific region. The composition is signed by perfumer François Demachy.
Notes include: blood orange, pink peppercorn, cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, ginger, clove, nutmeg, coriander, elemi, lemon zest, vanilla and benzoin. Tiare makes up the heart of the fragrance.
The perfume will be available from June 2, 2010.
Prices and sizes: 75ml (68,26€), 125ml (97,37€), 200ml (136,52€). It is currently an exclusive at Harrods.
