Singer Kylie Minogue is going the way of bread-and-circus and that infamous line attributed to Marie-Antoinette "give them cake", with her latest fragrance to debut in July 2010 called Pink Sparkle. It is inspired by the luxury drink pink champagne yet will be more accessible than the champagne blend itself thanks to the illusory nature of perfume...
The mass-market line is modestly priced thanks to petite perfume bottle sizes in 15 ml and 30 ml.
The scent is described as a fresh floral oriental. Top notes are white peach, pink grapefruit, lily of the valley; heart notes are champagne accord, gardenia, Arabian jasmine; base notes are musk, vetiver bourbon, bourbon vanilla.
The flacon is both reminiscent of a champagne glass and cork. In the ad, Kylie Minogue is sitting atop a pile of champagne crates.
The edt is priced at 11,49€ in 15 ml and 16,49€ in 30 ml.
