Les Parfums de Rosine, which specialize in rose fragrances, have launched their third masculine rose scent to date following Rose d'Homme (2005) and Twill Rose (2006), the latter a fragrance which women love to wear as well. The new composition is called Rosissimo and is inspired by a rose offering nuances of lemon and grapefruit... Marie-Hélène Rogeon the artistic director and owner of the brand wanted a superlatively lasting citrusy rose composition.The jus is signed by perfumer François Robert. Rosissimo is further described as "the most daringly classical of the men's Parfums de Rosine," as well as being a trompe-l'oeil eau de Cologne.
The hesperidic rose composition of Rosissimo opens on notes of Italian lemon, Pink grapefruit, Orange bitter, Rosemary, Verbena developing into a heart of White jasmine, Freesia, Rose essence, Precious woods before drying down to Leather, Cistus oil, Benzoin, Fir Balsam, Vetiver, Tree mosses.
