Mila Schön Time Collection '60,'70,'80,'90,'00 (2009) {New Perfumes} {Fashion Notes}

Last winter 2009, the perfume brand Mila Schön launched a range of 5 fragrances meant to retrace each of the decades that marked the career in fashion of the Italian designer (ca.1916 -2008). The Time Collection includes '60,'70,'80,'90 and '00 and are said to be "born from a deep study of the path Mila Schön went through in fashion and design." ...


Mila Schön came to couture relatively late at 35, passing from the status of customer of Haute Couture to designer when the fortune of her aristocratic family from Yougoslavia migrated to Italy to flee communism was lost. This explains why the Time Collection only starts in the 60s despite the fact that her taste matured through earlier decades.

'60 has top notes of magnolia, bargamot of Calabria, pear, melon, nectarine peach. Heart notes of jasmine, tuberose, freesia, lily of the valley, orchid. Base notes are white musk, vanilla sticks, cedarwood, blackberry.


'70 has top notes of bergamot of calabria, tangerine, black pepper. Heart notes are lily of the valley, Turkish rose, apricot, jasmine. Base notes are white musk, patchouli, Australian sandalwood, vanilla.

'80 has top notes of bergamot, tangerine, apple, peach, redcurrant. Heart notes of Turkish rose, jasmine absolute, pink freesia, fresh accord. Base notes are white musk, amber, Indonesian patchouli, cedarwood.

'90 has head notes of sea accord, bergamot of calabria, tangerine, nutmeg. Heart notes are melon, sambac jasmine, white peach, peony. Base notes are white musk, amber, Lebanese cedarwood.


'00 has starting notes of fresh accord, orange flowers, sambac jasmine. Heart notes of Grasse rose, tonka bean. Base notes of musk, Madagascar vanilla, precious woods.
