Nina Ricci Nina L'Elixir (2010): Fronted by Pop Singer Florrie Arnold {New Perfume} {Celebrity Fragrance}
Nina Ricci will launch a new variation of the original Nina (2006) from mid-August 2010 called Nina L'Elixir. The ad campaign has been refreshed as well with a new icon to embody the Nina princess: up-and-coming British pop singer Florrie Arnold replaces the late model Ruslana Korshunova who committed suicide in 2008...
The fragrance was composed, like the first Nina, by perfumer Olivier Cresp of Firmenich.
From a marketing standpoint, the new Nina L'Elixir is seen as riding on the more recent wave of success of Ricci Ricci which is in the top 10 bestselling fragrances for women in France. Nina itself had been a hit from the first year of its launch.
Notes are: jasmine, red fruits, Caipirinha green lemon, cotton musk.
In the commercial for the fragrance, Florrie Arnold will sing a new version of Sunday Girl by the group Blondie. Her dress was designed by Peter Copping for Nina Ricci.
