American niche perfume brand Parfums Delrae with a definite Francophile slant and a foot in Grasse founded by DelRae Roth have launched their 7th perfume called Coup de Foudre (Love at First Sight). The name of the perfume has a double-entendre. It evokes both passionate, instant love and the act of falling in love all over again with one of the most classical floral notes that are, if not the most iconic one of perfumery, rose. A new extraction process has been used to render the note.

Coup de Foudre is about "...the ultimate beauty of the rose, as you find it in nature - deep, luscious, fresh, and completely intoxicating.
