Party Pictures from YSL Belle d'Opium Bash {Perfume Images & Ads}
More party pictures from the Belle d'Opium bash in NYC have come in. Above is a glimpse of the new advert featuring actress Mélanie Thierry whose styling echoes the one for the more canonical Opium Eau de Parfum. The bottle designed by Fabien Baron is beautiful and turns a deep shade of purple for Belle d'Opium. The nargileh accord that perfumer Honorine Blanc mentions for the new jus sounds great (hence the swirls of smoke on the ad). We're not sure if it is voluntary but the suggestive pose seems to refer to the traditional practice of fumigating your yoni, no?...

In attendance at the launch party were a number of celebrities. Given
the new, younger revamped thematic of Belle d'Opium, it was no surprise
to see in particular a number of so called "it-girls" as they have been
come to be called by the media. Alexa Chung, who was a DJ for the
event, hates the expression but it sticks to her indefinitely. She has
been herself selected as the face of the next new feminine Lacoste fragrance.
The young set included personalities such as Ashley Olsen, Tinsley Mortimer, Daphne Mercer, television food critic Katie Lee, fashion designer Shoshanna Lonstein Gruss, model Byrdie Bell, model Alexandra Richards, the daughter of Billy Joel Alexa Ray Joel, television personality Whitney Port.
There were also actresses Maggie Gyllenhaal, Alexis Bledel, TV personality Jennifer Gilbert.
French actor Olivier Martinez was also on duty as the masculine face of L'Homme by Yves Saint Laurent, but not his colleague Vincent Cassel who is the face of La Nuit de L'Homme.
