Yves Rocher Vanille Noire (2010): Triple Vanilla {New Perfume}
Yves Rocher will introduce a new fragrance as part of their more select collection entitled Secrets d'Essences which year after year showcases a qualitative natural perfumery material benefiting from careful selection, state-of-the-art extraction methods and a famous perfumer's signature. After Voile d'Ambre (2005), Rose Absolue (2006), Iris Noir (2007) and Tendre Jasmin (2008), the brand will release Vanille Noire (Black Vanilla) from September 2010 in France. The composition borrows from the olfactory qualities of three different types of vanilla...
Vanille Noire is by perfumer Jacques Cavallier who also created Tendre Jasmin in the same collection.
The nose explained that he made the choice to move away from the gourmand connotations of vanilla to highlight its sensual side. To that effect, he selected three vanillas which each have their own desirable characteristics.
Bourbon Vanilla is here for its nuance of leathery and sensual comfort; Tahitian Vanilla brings its warm solar nuances; Uganda Vanilla finally adds its mysterious, thick, spicy and woodsy tonalities.
Ugandan vanilla was also showcased in the new release, DKNY Pure to noticeable effect but to create an opposite sensation of purity and whiteness.
