Kenzo Femme & Kenzo Homme (2010): Once Upon a Time, 40 Years Ago {New Fragrances}
Kenzo, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the house, is launching a limited-edition duo of two fragrances for women and men this fall 2010 called Kenzo Femme and Kenzo Homme within the project entitled Once Upon a Time.
The bottles showcase Kenzo visual designing style by being decorated with paper sleeves reproducing bright and dark naturalistic patterns inspired by Japanese textile tradition...
The compositions are signed by perfumers Christine Nagel and Benoist Lapouza of Fragrance Resources who often work together as they did for Lolita Lempicka Si Lolita, Emilio Pucci Miss Pucci, but also a bit more outside the mainstream as for the very confidential Iconofly Attache-Moi.
Kenzo Homme is said to be woody, fresh and intense. It features notes of nutmeg, vetiver, ginger and coriander. Its style is described as that of a classic.
Kenzo Femme offers the effect of a "floral explosion." Its notes are peony, freesia, sandalwood and musk.
Both perfumes are available in eau de toilette concentration and priced at $72 for 3.4 fl oz / 100 ml.
The fragrances launch from October 2010 in the USA and will be available at kenzousa.com.
