Prada Infusion D'iris Eau de Toilette (2010): Want to Powder Your Décolleté? {New Fragrance}
Prada have finally released their latest perfume, Infusion D'Iris Eau de Toilette, which they had announced before for spring 2010 but which is only now making it to the boutique shelves. It might have been worth the wait as it turns out to be a new interpretation by perfumer Daniela Andrier.
This time it is a twist on the original Infusion d'Iris Eau de Parfum (2007), the latter which makes me think very much of a cool and crisp cinched white shirt and the allure of Grace Kelly.
Although initially proposed as just a lighter take on the Eau de Parfum, a quick sniff out of the bottle indicates a perceptible change of atmosphere with both a rootier and more silken iris and more powder thanks to the heliotrope note...
"Inspired by the search for the scent of the iris flower, the fresh and floral Infusion d'Iris Eau de Toilette combines delicate lily of the valley, powdery violet, sensual cedar, and the Italian memories of clean, ironed linen."
Notes: Iris pallida, muguet, neroli, galbanum essence, heliotrope, cedar wood.
For another composition which looks at the iris flower, as opposed to the iris rhizomes, this fall see the upcoming Hermès Iris Ukiyoé.
Model Lara Stone was announced earlier this year as the face for the new fragrance.
Prices: $65, $85, $115.
