French Avon have released a new fragrance called Diamond, not to be confused with Rare Diamonds also new this year in the American market. While the latter is billed as a floral-oriental scent, the first one is presented as a green-floral composition...

Mother, actress, producer and director Salma Hayek, as the Avon brochure states, who is currently the face of Avon trio Today, Tomorrow, Always is seen fronting the advertising.

In France, she happens to be also known as the wife of PPR CEO Henri-François Pinault.

Little is said about the perfume itself except that it is "a dazzling ode to love" - "une ode éclatante à l'amour" - and for some reason, the company insists on your using the fragrance sprayed in your hair "so that your tête-à-tête conversations reveal all their meaning."
