Irish fashion designer Orla Kiely who is based in London and got her first big break with Harrods in 1995 who then commissioned her a range of hats upon her graduation from the Royal College of Art launched her debut fragrance this fall. Orla Kiely EDP is said to be, thus appearing very true to the charming nostalgic and updated feel of the label, "A charming fragrance of light floral notes, with natural extracts of rose, geranium and bergamot, subtly balanced with fresh fig and a hint of chocolate."
The perfume opens on top notes of green tea, peach, bergamot and fig. The heart rests on rose absolute, osmanthus, white flower and chocolate. The base includes cedarwood, sandalwood, tonka bean, musk.
The packaging features the multi-stem motif beloved by the brand and reveals the exacting research on authentic vintage colors which is a trademark of Orla Kiely.
The 100 ml, 50 ml and 25 ml of the edp retail prices are £55, £42 and £32 respectively.
