Perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena to Publish New Book in 2011 {Fragrant Readings} {Perfume News}

In-house perfumer for luxury brand Hermès Jean-Claude Ellena, the author more recently of Terre d'Hermès, Voyage d'Hermès, Eau Claire des Merveilles and Hermessence Iris Ukiyoé, but also of Bulgari Eau Parfumée au Thé Vert et Cartier Déclaration, among others, is turning to the pen once more...

This time, the tone is slightly more confessional as indicated by the title of his new upcoming book called Journal d'un Parfumeur (Diary of a Perfumer.) It might be an opportunity to see the nose at his most intimate and subjective in relationship to his work, but possibly also at his most literary as the book is part of a collection called "Littérature."

Date of publication has not been specified but the site Amazon.fr announces that the title will be soon available. Pre-orders are taken.
