Agent Provocateur L'Agent (2011): Not for Wimpy Babes {New Perfume} {Fragrance Images & Ads}
British lingerie brand Agent Provocateur have released a new flanker to the original Agent Provocateur launched in 2000 - now called Agent Provocateur Signature. It is entitled L'Agent. The Eau de Parfum is reportedly a darker, deeper and more mysterious twist on the original according to the reps of the brand...
The variant composition is officially signed by Azzi Glasser, who is a creative and marketing director. In the heroic days of perfume blogging, I recall, the authorship of Agent Provocateur Maîtresse had been directly addressed on this blog by both perfumer Christian Provenzano and Azzi Glasser.
L'Agent as depicted in the advert is an international-class spy who strategizes, materminds the game and whispers "shakhmaty" (checkmate) in the end.
"L'AGENT embodies today's femme fatale, a highly desirable and powerful woman, a secret agent who turns heads, effortlessly attracting admirers wherever she goes but who remains irresistibly in control."
There must be a pair of garters at AP to go with that description.
The perfume features notes of Geranium Bourbon, Rose de Mai, Jasmin Sambac, Tuberose absolute and Osmanthus. "The heart has been secretly nurtured by adding exotic dark secrets in addition to" Davana Oil, Baies Rose (pink peppercorn), Ylang Ylang, Rosewood and Angelica. "The base has been kissed and caressed with the finest and darkest ingredients including" Patchouli, Sandalwood, Amber Crystals, Tonka Beans, Rock Rose, Myrrh and Black Incense Musk.
This midnight-hour Agent Provocateur was launched in the UK in January 2011 as an exclusive at Harvey Nichols. It is now also available on the brand's website and at Debenham's.
A 100 ml spray bottle of L'Agent is priced at 105€, a 50 ml one at 75€ (I think I see a source of inspiration for the Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb flacon (2004).)
I was in Las Vegas and happen to get a chance to smell this AG SCENT...AND..it smells quite like smokey vanilla, strong cinnamon spice and a wind of a cigar smoked out club full of men and it has imbedded in your hair....loved it but, this can become unisex i think and skin chemistry is a must for a match to this scent! :)
I love cinnamon in a fragrance -- sounds very alluring more generally speaking from what you say. It feels like it is quite sultry, for both men and women :)
