Emma Watson to be Face of Trésor Midnight Rose by Lancôme {Fragrance News} {Celebrity-Endorsed Perfume}

Actress Emma Watson will be the face of a new women's fragrance by Lancôme called Trésor Midnight Rose, a flanker to the modern classic Trésor created by perfumer Sophia Grojsman in 1990. Chosen by the company to embody a new generation of women, she will succeed the daughter of Isabella Rossellini, Elettra Wiedemann who was the spokesperson for another flanker, Trésor in Love, aimed at touching a similar age group. Sassi Sam blog reports that the president of Lancôme International Youcef Nabi confessed being impressed by the millions of followers of the Harry-Potter franchise actress on Facebook...

“Thanks to her charm, romanticism and her incredible modernity, Emma Watson has become the icon of her generation,” said Youcef Nabi, president of Lancôme International. “We are delighted by this new collaboration with Emma, who brings a fresh spirit to Lancôme.”

The advertising campaign will be shot by Mario Testino. Emma Watson was also seen as part of the Burberry fashion ad campaigns together with her brother. She recently lent her face to the fragrances Burberry Sport for Men and Women.

On her Twitter account, which is adorned with an Eiffel Tower icon, the young actress teased her 700 000 plus followers with a series of allusive tweets, the latest one, 5 minutes ago, being "It starts with an L and ends with an E. I’m sure you have guessed the new face of Lancôme is me! :-)"

Watson will be filming a new movie this summer entitled "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," which is maybe one of the upsides when translated to perfumery of wearing a soliflore fragrance.
