Perfumed Bubbles for Colette Signed Kurkdjian (2011) {New Home Fragrance}
To fête their 14th anniversary, Parisian concept store Colette have partenered with perfumer Francis Kurkdjian to create a new limited-edition scent in the Bulles d'Agathe series by Maison Francis Kurkdjian.
Initially inspired by the nose's niece for whom he wanted to create a playful experience with perfume, the bubble concept was extended in 2010 to a monumental event at the Grand Palais during the Noctambulle interractive show (French version here)...
Simple, pastoral smells glided on the evening air under the dome of the Grand Palais thanks to showers of soapy bubbles turned into scent carriers.
"Colette is 14 years old the first day of spring, and celebrates its first steps into adolescence with some flashbacks! An almost dreamlike return to childhood, for those who have kept the soul, with bulles d'Agathe from Francis Kukdjian, a real olfactory toy with fig, inspired by the fetish odor of 213 rue Saint-Honore, and available in limited edition."
Bulles d'Agathe Colette launches on March 15th, 2011. A 45 ml tube is priced at 14€.
