Emilio Pucci Verde 072 (2011) {New Perfume - Limited Edition}
Italian designer Pucci have introduced a new perfume in the Vivara Variazioni series called Verde 072 in reference to the name of a shade in their color catalog. The fragrance was inspired by the evocation of a summer morning spent on the island of Vivara amidst the Mediterranean vegetation and wafts of the beach and sun....
Top notes are mint leaves, bergamot and green notes. Heart notes are essence of neroli bigarade and Turkish rose. Base notes are woodsy and soft with cedar wood and tonka bean absolute.
In 2007, Pucci revived the Vivara name with a new perfume called Vivara (see review) which was a symbolic throwback to the original Vivara from 1965. An olfactory continuity can be experienced minimally in the marine and Medietrranean themes overlapping the years while the beach-y accord has entirely evolved.
Verde 072 in France is exclusive to Sephora Champs Elysées, 49,50€ for 50 ml of Eau de Parfum. Also available at Harrods.
