Are You Zipped with Premier? (2011) {New Men's Fragrance}

Perfumer's Workshop have launched the first fragrance in a collection of four men's scents entitled Premier from the collection Zipped Man. Three more are upcoming and already christened Soho Noir, Rebel, Apollo. Perfumer's Workshop are well-known for their famous Tea Rose, a favorite of éditeur de parfums Frédéric Malle and their Samba series.

"A mental image of Zipped Premier would express clean and sexy at the same time…like just-showered skin. Primal, instinctive…sometimes you see something, hear something, smell something that cuts right to the chase, pulls your strings, pushes your buttons, revs your engine. Zipped Premier is like that: it goes straight to the heart."....

Zipped Premier was composed by perfumer Pierre Negrin. Its notes are "top notes of lemon zest, coriander, mandarin and green apple, a heart of lavender, violet leaves and nutmeg, with a dry-down of dark woods, musk, amber and tonka bean."

The fragrance can be sampled free on their website. The brand decided to offer an exclusive online marketing venue for the jus at zippedman.com.

“We launched online because the Internet is now the largest shopping center in the world, and Web site customers are fast approaching the largest purchasing segment for most classes of goods in the world, specifically in the fragrance industry,” said Donald Bauchner, president of the Perfumer’s Workshop.

The spokesperson for the scent is American model Isaac J. Sullivan. The online commercial is by Josh Safdie and Alex Kalman of Red Bucket films. The photography is by Fabien Montique.
