Charriol Imperial Ruby (2011): Red Like Rubies, Cherries, & The Red Carpet {New Fragrance}
Swiss jeweler Charriol have introduced their latest fragrance called Imperial Ruby inspired by the red-blooded ruby stone, the symbol of love. Words used by the brand to describe the perfume are "majestic", "luxurious", "sensual" and "intense."
"...a fragrance for lavish evenings when, dazzling with radiance and seduction, opulent in her refined elegance, luxurious with the precious jewels she wears, she walks proudly and confidently, as if on a red carpet, toward the man she loves…"
Imperial Ruby is officially a woody fruity-floral. It was composed by perfumers Michel Almairac and Sidonie Lancesseur of Robertet.
The perfume is said to open on top notes which are fruity and spicy with notes of watermelon, Morello cherries and bergamot. The heart showcases "ardent red roses" made more mysterious thanks to violet leaves while a sensation of opulence rests upon golden sandalwood. The base is nothing less than "torrid" and "passionate" with notes of musk, amber and precious woods, among which is white cedar.
The cap of the bottle can be deconstructed and the ring worn as a jewel.
Last year, Charriol launched Tourmaline. The brand's fragrances are developed by Cofin Luxe since 2008.
