Dior Patchouli Impérial (2011) {New Fragrance}

Dior have added a new perfume to La Collection Christian Dior, previously known as La Collection Couturier Parfumeur, called Patchouli Impérial.

"Patchouli Impérial, is a celebration of this legendary oriental ingredient with notes as sultry as they are sophisticated. "Patchouli is a major note, the most animal of all the plant notes. It is refined, revealing unprecedented elegance."....

The Collection Christian Dior is dedicated to higher expressions of perfumery in principle and corresponds within the Dior Parfums brand as what is described more generally as "niche perfumery."

The fragrance bears the signature of perfumer François Demachy.

Top notes are Sicilian mandarin, Calabrian bergamot, Russian coriander; heart is a top grade of Indonesian patchouli; the base rests on cedarwood and an essence of sandalwood.
