New Advertising for the Relaunch of Laura Biagiotti Venezia {Perfume Images & Ads}
As announced previously, one of the big news this year is the relaunch of the long lost Oriental, Venezia by Laura Biagiotti, which is given a second lease on life by the brand thanks to popular demand...
On the dedicated site, one can now discover the fuller details about the new incarnation which is said to be a "re-creation" "inspired by the sweetness of plum and the intensity of pure vanilla."
The brand also promises that the perfume is even richer and more intense than the original, which will be interesting to gauge in today's fragrance world as the first Venezia was one of the heaviest concoctions available at the time in 1992.
Launched at the beginning of an era which was going to be characterized by transparent, wan, yet diffusive perfumes, it sort of confessed to its defeat by launching a lighter version called Venezia Pastello in 1995.
In 2011, it is apparently back with a vengeance and a taste for further riches, in a day and age when the original thickness of Poison by Dior has been lightened up.
