Tommy Hilfiger Eau de Prep Tommy & Eau de Prep Tommy Girl (2011) {New Fragrances} {Men's Cologne}

Tommy Hilfiger is having a full coming-out moment with the launch of his new duo of fragrances from October 2011 called Eau de Prep Tommy and Eau de Prep Tommy Girl, publicly claiming his style territory....

The branding effort is inspired by his earlier fashion collection, Spring-Summer 2011 Prep World Collection.The designer wants to point out that preppy is a multi-cultural style phenomenon, with regional variations and a taste for mixing vintage with contemporary pieces. Hilfiger told WWD,

“Preppy in New York is interpreted differently than preppy in London or Milan or Los Angeles,” said the designer, who showcased the collection in pop-up shops around the globe from April through August of this year.

Eau de Prep Tommy Girl offers top notes of Bosc pear, pink pepper and green apple; a heart of white rose, violet leaf and hawthorn, and a drydown of sandalwood, patchouli and musk.

Eau de Prep Tommy features top notes of ruby red grapefruit and clary sage, a heart of geranium, tonic accord, lavender and juniper, and a drydown of amber, oakmoss and suede.

"Eau de Prep Tommy Girl is an eau de toilette available in two sizes: 1.7 oz. for $55 and 3.4 oz. for $70. Eau de Prep Tommy, also an eau de toilette, is being offered in two sizes, 1.7 oz. for $50 and 3.4 oz. for $65."
