Coach Poppy Flower Inspires Ephemeral Bouquets by Denise Porcaro (2011) {New Fragrance}

Coach have a new Poppy perfume in town called Poppy Flower, which first launched in July 2011. The composition benefited from a collaboration with celebrity florist Denise Porcaro of Flower Girl in New York City who led a series of workshops to offer flower arrangement tips...

While some have stated that a bouquet composed by Porcaro was the original inspiration for the scent, the light fruity-floral was in a more business-like manner expressly designed with the Asian market in mind, according to WWD,

"Chic. Vibrant. Whimsical. Poppy Flower mixes bright fruits with soft florals to capture the romantic side of the Coach Poppy attitude. Sparkling notes of citrus, lychee and cassis blend with water lily and jasmine petals to create an airy, lighthearted fragrance."

Top: sweet freesia, violet leaves, grapefruit, wet ivy, mandarin

Heart: lychee, cassis, jasmine petals, muguet, peonies, water lily, rose

Base: sugared raspberry, musk,amber, sandalwood, creamy apricot skin
