Illuminum Haute Perfume Collection Launches in Illuminum Fragrance Lounge (2011) {New Perfumes} {Scented Paths & Fragrant Addresses}
Today and as announced previously, a new perfume destination in London was inaugurated, the Illuminum Fragrance Lounge, which houses Michael Boadi Illuminum collections of scents. Within that label, a new library of perfumes was created entitled Illuminum Haute Perfume which is reportedly even more exclusive than the original one where ingredients are concerned,
"British Perfumer Michael Boadi’s Illuminum fragrance collection is to launch one of the largest independent perfumeries on the planet at 41/42, Dover Street, in the heart of London's Mayfair. Based in an elegant Georgian townhouse, the 1500 sq ft of retail space will be devoid of counters and the usual accoutrement of retailing, and instead feature wide, modular sofas, soft deep pile rugs over parquet flooring and the calming atmosphere of a boutique hotel"...
“I want to create an oasis of fragrance in the heart of the city” say’s Boadi “there will be no rushing at The Fragrance Lounge, you can sit and enjoy an espresso or a glass of champagne and take you time – selecting from my scents should be a joyous experience and there are 32 to choose from!"
The perfumery is divided into 4 rooms. Besides the original collection called the Classic Perfume Collection which comprises the famous White Gardenia Petals worn by the Duchess of Cambridge at her wedding, there are now the Haute Perfume Collection with 16 new compositions, the Interior Fragrance one replicating all Illuminum perfumes, and the Illuminum Synthesis, a bespoke service.
Stay tuned for more information about the creations of the Haute Perfume Collection.
